Overheard in the Nylon Office:

“You know in Josie and the Pussycats?


How they’re putting subliminal messages in the songs to make everyone listen to them over and over again?

I feel like Lady Gaga must be putting those messages in “Bad Romance,” because I want to listen to it, like, five times in a row.

And I think Lady Gaga is a real musician, and I respect her a lot, but there’s something extra going on.

I mean, couldn’t you listen to “Bad Romance” for a half hour on repeat, and be totally happy? There’s something seriously amazing about that.”
